Modern Warfare 2 had its campaign remastered in 2020, and it was expected that the online portion of the game would also be getting similar treatment. It featured a spruced up, shinier-looking campaign, and a full recreation of the game’s groundbreaking multiplayer component. It was back in 2016 that Raven Software faithfully remastered the historic FPS title Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. According to a leaker, the long-awaited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer remaster has been canceled and won’t be following in the footsteps of CoD 4 Remastered.
